It was a sunny Saturday in Darlinghurst. Whoever is the god of street festivals blessed Surplus Sydney by keeping the rain off. From morning to late evening, thousands flocked to Darlo to experience the best of local and international street culture. Artists, designers, DIY brands, and streamers alike all rubbed shoulders. It was packed, hectic, and a whole lot of fun.
It was the perfect place to hold a bunch of interviews.
For Yellowbelly Mania, we sat and caught a slew of guests right in the heart of all the madness, Including, Nes, Grace Tan, Angel, David Porte Beckefeld, Fukhed, Calvin Tran, Phil Fresh, Kentaro Yoshida, Rei Matsunuma, Aaron Siow, and Jacinto. We laughed, locked in, and shared stories all to an audience of shuffling Surplus-goers.
